Jessica Sanchez to release ‘dancey’ single in February, dreams of working with Eminem
American Idol Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez said that after months of hard work of perfecting her debut album, she is set to release her single next month, according to an ABS-CBN report Wednesday.
In an interview with music industry magazine, Billboard, the 17-year-old Filipina-Mexican singing sensation said she’s so ready for everyone to hear it.
“It’s going to be dancey and something that I could definitely see being remixed and in the clubs,” Sanchez said. I’m here, I’m doing things and I’m very excited for 2013.”
On the album, Jessica has worked with an all-star cast that includes Ne-Yo, who she is going to do a duet with, Toby Gad, Harvey Mason, Jr. and Rykeyz.
Concerning the duet with Ne-Yo, Jessica said, “He was writing a song when I was in the studio and it took him about 40 minutes to write it. I’m actually doing that song with him and it’s going to be on the album.” She explained that collaborating with Ne-Yo was a life altering experience. “I love him so much and I can’t believe that I got that opportunity to work with him. It’s crazy!”, she told Billboard.
She also said her dream is to work with Eminem saying, “I would love to work with Eminem one day. He’s amazing.”
In addition to the upcoming release of her single next month, Sanchez will be performing her first solo concert in Manila, Philippines on Valentines Day.
