Carrie Underwood’s ‘Blown Away Tour’ tops all female country artists
Carrie Underwood’s 2012 tour, “Blown Away”, topped all other female country artists last year, according to a Pollstar Year End Top 50 Worldwide Tours published Friday.
The Country star and former American Idol winner brought in $29.2 million during her 60 show/59 city 2012 tour. And it’s not over yet as the “Blown Away Tour” continues through the Spring of 2013.
Carrie ranked #47 is gross receipts among all artists in concert tour ticket sales.
Other Country Music tours that ranked in the Top 50 in 2012 includes Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw at #7, Jason Aldean at #24, guitar slinger Brad Paisley at #28, super trio Lady Antebellum at #32, the Zac Brown Band at #42, Eric Church at #43, Underwood at #47 and Rascal Flatts at #48.
