Repticon returns to Tampa this weekend
Gather together Bay Area herpers, as this year draws to a close, this weekend will mark the last edition in 2014 of the long-running Florida International Reptile Show, also known as Repticon Tampa. Come be part of the herpetology hobby in one of the largest shows in the Repticon series at the Florida State Fairgrounds in 4800 N US Highway 301 in Tampa, FL 33610 on Saturday & Sunday, November 8 & 9, 2014.
In Tampa it will take you and your family hours to browse numerous aisles of vendor tables jammed with the live herp happiness of reptiles, amphibians, exotic arthropods, magnificent mammals, and many more creatures that make unique and rewarding pets. Those who breed these creatures will offer not only the animals themselves, but a vast array of supplies needed to perfect the herp hobby, interesting merchandise that will let you get the jump on your seasonal gift shopping, and knowledge that can inform you on how to care for these amazing species. If you are looking for something precise in the reptile and amphibian hobby, chances are you will find it in Tampa, along with all the good general information and items to direct you as you learn.

The hourly seminars will excite and educate in ways you’ve only begun to imagine. Stalwarts such as The LB Reptile Experience will present you with reptiles of all kinds of shapes and sizes, while Under the Canopy Farms brings dart frogs, Top Hat Geckos specializes in geckos, and Redfoot Ranch gives a tortoise presentation. Other presentations rarely before seen will include the herps of Beyond The Scales Reptiles, Iguana Brothers, and the furry friends of Gerbil Gems. Finally catch the seminar by Ready To Go Reptiles who will discuss Axolotls and other quite unusual amphibians. A full weekend of attending these events will result in meeting all manner of exotic animals, learning about the numerous kinds and their specializations.
