Venus Raj the only Filipina to make World Actuality’s ’50 Most Beautiful Women in the World’
Despite dominating international beauty contests in 2013, only one Filipina made the grade to make World Actuality’s”50 Most Beautiful Women in the World”, which was recently published.
Coming in at #46 on the list of international beauties was the fourth runner-up in the Miss Universe 2013 contest, Venus Raj.

The bio about Venus for the list goes as follows:
“Venus lived (for about 20 years) in an indigenous house made of bamboo, some wood and palm leaves, with no electricity; in the rural town of Bato, Philippines. On March 6, 2010 she was crowned Miss Philippines Universe and her life changed dramatically for better. She used the opportunities she was given (she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Art) and today Venus is a successful young woman that managed to change her stars.”
Venus at #46 was sandwiched between South African beauty, Candice Swanepoel (#47) and professional dancer, Amanda Lajcaj (#45).
The international beauties that took the vaunted Top 10 include Vietnamese model/actress/singer, Ngo Thanh Van (10), Portuguese model, Sara Sampaio (9), Tunisian model, Rim Saidi (8), 2-time Miss Dominican Republic, Ada Aimee De La Cruz (7), American actress, Megan Fox (6), Chinese model/actress, Jin Mei Xin (5), Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra (4), Romanian beauty, Madalina Ghenea (3), Russian model, Irina Shayk (2) and World Actuality’s “Most Beautiful Woman In The World 2013”– Bosnian beauty, Idda Van Munster (Aida Dapo).
