Rand Paul sues President Obama over NSA program, annoying Peter King
Rand Paul, the junior Senator from Kentucky has kept his promise and filed a class action lawsuit against President Barack Obama and other administration officials for the National Security Agency (NSA) program that collected millions of Americans’ phone and other records.

“I am filing a lawsuit against President Barack Obama because he has publicly refused to stop a clear and continuing violation of the 4th Amendment,” Paul said in a statement from his political action committee. “The Bill of Rights protects all citizens from general warrants.”
Tea Party organization, Freedomworks is the co-plaintiff in the law suit.
In addition to Obama and the NSA, the lawsuit will name Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Director of the National Security Agency Gen. Keith Alexander and FBI Director James Comey.
However, some defenders of the NSA spying programs are quite annoyed at Paul’s legal action.
New York Representative Peter King, one of the staunchest supporters of the NSA said, “I think that has really hurt the country. That is why I am so angry that Rand Paul is bringing this lawsuit today.”
King has long been critical of Paul’s stand on privacy and NSA whistleblower, Edward Snowden.

Peter King would allow nationwide gun confiscation and permanently suspend habeus corpus if he could get away with it. I hope Paul’s suit is successful but I’m not holding my breath, knowing the Federal judges acquiesce to the DOJ as they are beholden to the SAME employer.
Seems to me that if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to be worried about! Mr. Paul, all you’re doing is trying to gain votes…how ’bout DOING something besides talking and inciting more governmental hatred and disgust!
We all know president obama will continue to so exactly what he wants and if he does get in trouble another will take his place. It’s all a game of the better liar gets it.
