‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5: Rebecca Mader will return as Wicked Witch
In a photographic teaser on twitter, the fifth season of Once Upon a Time will indeed include Rebecca Mader’s Zelena becoming the Wicked Witch again.
In a post on Twitter, co-creator Adam Horowitz showed off a look from behind – Mader in full Wicked Witch mode.
Fans have note that Mader was promoted into a series regular, so making her Wicked Witch in the process seems obvious.

Only a couple of episodes into season 5 and the Dark Emma storyline has Storybrooke turned upside down which “…does is force Regina to be good all in the name of bringing Emma back to the way she was and, ultimately, saving Storybrooke.”
“I think Dark Ones give into their darkest impulses and they are capable of love,” Horowitz said in a recent interview. “But it’s about the choices they make and the things that they do in pursuit of the things that they want.”
“…it’s an interesting season,” fellow EP Edward Kitsis furthered “The two people best equipped to help Emma fight the darkness are Regina and Hook. She’s going to rely upon Hook and Regina to really guide her through what is going to be the biggest test in her life.”
