First look at Daniel Radcliffe, James McAvoy in ‘Victor Frankenstein’

From the new June issue of Empireonsale on April 30, fans get a behind-the-scenes look at Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy in Victor Frankenstein.

“As much as the monster is his creation, Igor is his creation as well,” explained McAvoy on set in Longcross, Surrey. “That was quite exciting. It’s funny, the script, but also really dark, in a cool way.”

Fans will be excited the heavyweight leather jerkin and goggles worn the X-Men: Days of Future Past star as the title character, the not-so-good intentioned mad scientist.

The article notes that Harry Potter’s remains in character for this between-takes snap, or at least his altered posture does.

Directed by Paul McGuigan, from a script by Chronicle‘s Max Landis, McAvoy and Radcliffe will be joined by Mark Gatiss, Jessica Brown Findlay and Andrew Scott.

Victor Frankenstein will arrive in theaters on October 2, 2015.
