Brandyn LaPage, Fall River man arrested in connection to the murder Aja Pascual
Atleast one person has been charged and connected to the murder of Aja Pascual, a 31 year-old Massachusetts woman found dead in her car last week.
Bristol County District Attorney’s office spokesman Gregg Miliote said Brandyn LaPage, 20, of Fall River, was arrested Wednesday and charged with intimidating a witness, carrying a firearm without an FID card and possession of a firearm without an FID card.
UPDATE: Many court documents revealed his name to be spelled LePage, but the initial report had this spelling.
“He was questioned about the homicide and presented information we allege to be false,” Miliote said.
After LaPage was interviewed by investigators, a search warrant was obtained to search his home, Miliote added. A firearm was found and will be held until a hearing on Tuesday.
“No one has been charged with the homicide,” Miliote said. “This investigation is fluid and ongoing, and, due to that, I cannot comment any further on the investigation.”
Pascual was found in her Nissan Versa, broken glass on the ground, dead from multiple gunshot wounds, atleast one to the head. Police have been searching for the murder weapon and suspect that the shooter not only knew Pascual, but was inside her vehicle at the time of the shooting.
