Police state Aja Pascual’s killer was in the car with her as the investigation continues
The murder investigation in Fall River Massachusetts continues as mystery shrouds the details of Aja Pascual’s death.
Police reportedly are still searching for the gun that killed Aja Pascual and the person who pulled the trigger Saturday afternoon on Cherry Street.
Pascual, 31, was found shot multiple times, including one to the head, inside of her Nissan Saturday afternoon. Police had responded to a 911 call that shots had been fired.
Detectives have been out with sanitation crews, searching storm drains and combing the streets for the murder weapon and clues to the case.
“We are continuing to canvass the area,” said Gregg Miliote, spokesman for Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter. “We spent all day yesterday and all night last night speaking with neighborhood residents.
“We are asking people, if they saw anything, to let us know.”
A murder brings out a full-court press, said Mayor Will Flanagan, who is a former prosecutor.
“We are all working on this, doing everything we can to make sure our citizens are safe,” Flanagan said.
It appears that whoever shot Pascual was in the car with her when she was killed, Miliote said.
“Right now, the investigators believe they were known to each other,” he said.
