Anne Curtis is a ‘Girl on Fire’ on ‘It’s Showtime’
In one of the most talked about performances since her performance of Rihanna’s song “Diamonds” on “ASAP 18″ last February, what I call the “Pantygate” performance, Anne Curtis lit up the stage on Saturday’s “It’s Showtime”.

Sporting a hot, red body-fitting suit, the gorgeous Filipino-Australian actress delivered a fired up performance of Alicia Key’s hit, “Girl on Fire”, with a full production including acrobatics, pyrotechnics and aerial stunts.
The performance quickly trended on the microblogging site Twitter under the hashtags, #TheNoisePHAnneCurtisOpeningProd #AnneCurtisGirlOnFire. In fact, #AnneCurtisGirlOnFire trended@ the 1st spot, while Showtime trended at the 8th spot.
Comments on the sizzling performance included Thisss Girl is On Fiiiiiirrrreeee!!!!! and other variations of the same statement.
However, Curtis took a pounding with YouTube commentors who sharply criticized her singing.
One person said, “I could never take her seriously as a singer.. shes just making a fool out of her self haha”.
Another said, “Is that what she sounds like with some vocal training?”
In February, Curtis grabbed a lot of attention during her now famous, “wet look” performance, which showed Curtis wearing a black long gown with a slit that shows her left leg, thigh and half of her waist while water drips on her from an unseen shower.
