‘The Gifted’ stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker set for MegaCon 2018
The guest list for MegaCon just keeps getting better. Now Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker will be joining the all-star guest lineup, bringing a presence for the new hit show The Gifted.
Moyer and Acker star as the Struckers, a husband and wife in the middle of the realization that both of kids are mutants in an X-Men hating world. The first season showcased an exciting and entertaining superhero drama. While it’s still not known, the pair will likely partner for a panel presentation, so stay tuned for more details.
Additionally, expect a ton of True Blood fans to fill the lines to meet Moyer, who is best known as vampire Bill Compton in the HBO series. Acker’s resume is also full of fan favorites as she is best known for starring as Winifred Burkle and Illyria on the supernatural drama series Angel (2001–2004), as Kelly Peyton on the action drama series Alias (2005–2006), and as Root on the science-fiction drama series Person of Interest (2012–2016).

Excuse me Molly… Stephen Moyer is a VERY accomplished actor in Hollywood, not just a ‘vampire from that show’ which is HBO’s Trueblood that ran for 7 years!
Please check his IMDb for a list of ALL his acting credits. It’s pretty extensive & impressive.
Amy is a wonderful actor & has Sci-Fi distinction of course. But Mr. Moyer DOES
deserve his Top Billing not just because of sci-fi/ fantasy ( which he’s won awards for)
but also for his numerous movie, tv & theatre credits through the years, before & after
Trueblood.
You probably should write Amy Acker first(as in ‘The Gifted’ stars Amy Acker and Stephen Moyer), as she was in more Sci-Fi/Fantasy shows and visited more conventions than Moyer.
tldr; Acker’s a legend who played quite a few iconic characters, he’s just a vampire from that show.

Just want to reiterate the comment by Rhonda. Stephen Moyer is an extremely accomplished actor with many credits from TV and film roles, as well as the stage. His work in the U.K. includes some excellent Sci-Fi/Fantasy films before coming to the U.S. for TB.
His embodiment of Bill Compton on “TrueBlood” is iconic, and, along with Anna Paquin’s Sookie, was the main reason so many fans made the show a hit for 7 seasons.
His and Ms. Acker’s work on “The Gifted” is terrific, and I’m looking forward to this next season.
