‘Something Rotten!’ Coming to Sarasota January 7 and 8
With its heart on its ruffled sleeve and sequins in its soul, the Sarasota premiere of the completely original new musical, Something Rotten!, opens at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Monday, January 7 at 7:30 p.m. and continues with a second performance on Tuesday, January 8 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $42-$87 with limited seats remaining.
Something Rotten! was originally directed and choreographed on Broadway by Tony Award®-winner Casey Nicholaw (Mean Girls, The Book of Mormon, Aladdin). The play features music and lyrics by Grammy Award®-winner and Tony Award-nominee Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award® and Tony Award-nominee Karey Kirkpatrick, and a book by Tony Award-nominees Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O’Farrell.
