Cobie Smulders hopeful she will appear in ‘The Avengers Age of Ultron’

While there is little doubt that the How I Met Your Mother star Cobie Smulders will return, Smulders officially told the  the Calgary Hearld that she’ll hopeful she’ll be back for The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

“I think I’m in Avengers 2, but it is very top secret.  I hope I’m in Avengers 2. I didn’t get my invitation yet.”

Well, actually, they know I’m in it but they don’t know to what degree I’m in it…I am really excited to read the script because they are introducing Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch into the Avengers universe and the bad guy [Ultron] is going to be very interesting.”

Aaron Tayor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen have been cast as the mutant Avengers for the next film.

While it’s certain that Smulders will also reprise her role at S.H.I.E.L.D. for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, fans are clamoring for an extended in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show.

Directed by Joss Whedon with the cast of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlet Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo are all set to return.

The Avengers: Age Of Ultron will open in theaters May 1, 2015.
