‘Argo’ wins Best Picture Oscar as Daniel Day-Lewis, Jennifer Lawrence and Ang Lee get top honors

Ben Affleck may have been snubbed as a director, but “Argo” won the top prize as the Best Picture in 2012.

Steven Spielberg’s presidential biopic,”Lincoln,” led the Oscar nominated films with 12 while “Life with Pi,” directed by Ang Lee was second at 11, but “Lincoln” only came away with two awards.
