Superman (Henry Cavill) will face General Zod (Michael Shannon) and now a second character unfamiliar to most audience members. The female character Ursa from “Superman” and “Superman 2” were based on Faora, a female Kryptonian who despises all men.
The most recent version of Faora in the comics has her able to create a mutagenic virus and shoe joins General Zod to execute his evil plans of destruction. Variety directly quotes Wikipedia’s reference: “That character was an orphan metahuman with the ability to disrupt molecular bonds, which allowed her to create a mutagenic virus that served as the linchpin of Zod’s plan.”
More details are sure to unravel as the production will begin later this year.
