Anne Curtis as ‘Dyesebel’ to premiere Monday, Angel Locsin tops 7 million Facebook likes
All the anticipation for the Anne Curtis fantasy series, “Dyesebel” is about to come to a head as the television adaptation of the Mars Ravelo classic is scheduled to debut Monday, Mar. 17 on ABS-CBN.
The classic tale of the Half-human/Half-mermaid, born to a human parent from the surface world, “Dyesebel” stars Anne Curtis as the mermaid, the daughter of a woman named Lucia (Dawn Zulueta) and a merman named Tino (Albert Martinez).
After many years of living in the ocean since she got separated from her parents, Dyesebel’s life is about to turn around as she discovers the world of human beings.
In addition to Curtis, Zulueta and Martinez, “Dyesebel” features the likes of Gabby Concepcion, ZsaZsa Padilla, and Gina Pareño.
In other news of a Filipina celebrity with a hot TV show, “The Legal Wife” star, Angel Locsin has hit another milestone in social media in the Philippines.
She became the first to top the 7 million “like” mark on Facebook. Currently, in a close race behind Locsin is Vice Ganda and Cristine Reyes both with greater than 6 million “like”.
