Truth on the statue of St. Peter, baptism and gay marriage

One other big lie is the “so called” statue of St. Peter, the Apostle.  It is really a pagan statue of Zeus (Jupiter), at the Vatican in Rome.  For centuries, ignorant followers of Catholicism (and others) have been kissing the leading big toe of the statue, and praying to it.

Also, the false tradition was taught that Peter was crucified in Rome, and buried there.  Peter was buried in Israel, and had no dealings with Rome.  The Jews hated Rome, and wanted nothing to do with it, if they could help it.

Another false practice of Catholicism is the failure to teach repentance from sin.  That’s why they made an institution of “confessionals” because it is taken for granted that people will continue to sin, even after “becoming a Catholic”.

My advice to any Catholic is to leave that demonic institution and seek out an assembly that (only) practices water baptism in the name of Jesus, as stated in Acts 2:38.

Some of the false doctrines that Protestantism and Non-Denominationals teach is that “salvation requires no work” on our part.  Baptism is considered “a work” which they say is not needed.

Where did they get that from, besides an evil false teacher?

Except for the Baptists, water baptism is regarded as “an outward show” of your faith.

Where do people get such nonsense, and why do people believe them?

Water baptism, along with repentance, is required in order to obtain the remission of sins, and is the only way to have them remitted. Satan gets in the minds of people and they will come up with all kinds to false doctrines and stupid teachings, as several will be exposed later in this article.

It should be no surprise that many of these Protestant faiths are cradles of perversion.

Just look how many denominations are embracing sodomy, by allowing gay pastors and priests, and performing gay marriages. Ever wonder why Catholicism has always sheltered pedophiles? They historically have not been removed from the priesthood, but when they are exposed, they are just moved to another Parrish, and the new congregation is not told of the priest’s previous actions. The Vatican (skillets) can’t call the pedophile priests (kettles) “black”.

Who knows what deep perversion goes on behind closed Vatican doors?

Too many want to think that they can take a short cut, and bypass the protocols set by the Apostles.  You will often hear people say or sing that they are “saved according to His Word (the Bible)”.  What they are saying is, that they have bypassed the examples of salvation given in the book of Acts, and are embracing a misunderstanding of Romans 10:9.  First, Paul was speaking to saints of the church, and not to sinners coming from outside the church.  In fact, each known letter that Paul wrote to a congregation begins with “to the saints” or “unto the church.”

About the Author

- Herman Cummings is a computer data analyst, who used his training to analyze the written text of Genesis. On EasterSunday, in 1990, a lady stood up in Sunday School and asked the pastor “How can I teach my children about Adam & Eve, when all they are taught is evolution in school?”. The pastor could only say “Just believe the Bible”. That was of no help to the lady. So Herman Cummings began his research to resolve the issue, since the worlds of Creationism and Theology could not literally reconcile Genesis with scientific reality. After receiving the revelation of the first chapter from the Lord in December 1993, Herman Cummings became the world’s leading expert on the book of Genesis (Bereshit).

  1. Sandra Young says:

Peter–The Hebrew word pathor pey-tav-resh is a root word meaning to open, fig. to interpret (a dream). Simon Peter’s real name was Cephas. But there was another Simon in the Scriptures–Simon the magician, who according to Acts 8:13 became a believer. But did he later fall away and go to Rome, or perhaps even another Simon, where he was called Simon Peter (the interpreter/magician)? It certainly could explain how there could have been a Simon Peter in Rome. Pagan deities worshipped by the Romans and Babylonians were known as peters. Priests of the mystery religions claimed to have the power to interpret mysteries and were called Patres. See Fourth Reich of the Rich by Des Griffin, pages 31-37.
