Snoop Dogg attacked over Bruce Jenner ‘science project’ post, ‘transphobic’ towards Caitlyn Jenner
Rapper Snoop Dogg is being called “transphobic” after he posted a meme referring to Caitlyn Jenner as “that science project” on Instagram.
The meme, featuring singer Akon and a message: “Shout out to Akon! He is about to supply 600 million africans with solar power. Im really upset that this isnt major news but that science project bruce jenner is.”
Snoop’s post had more than 150,000 likes with a ton of highly critical remarks. It wasn’t immediately clear where the meme originated.
Cleveland Cavaliers player J.R. Smith also posted the meme, but quickly deleted it, according to Mic.
Akon’s initiative to bring power to millions of impoverished Africans, that much is true. Akon Lighting Africa launched last year and has already reportedly installed solar street lamps and millions of domestic solar panels.
