Sam Claflin shirtless in ‘Hunger Games The Catching Fire’ photo, new trailer

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has debuted a new image online, shirtless Sam Claflin as former Hunger Games champ, Finnick Odair, a cocky ladies’ man with a slightly questionable line in jewellery.

The massive SDCC panel excited fans with a new trailer and the stars all talking about the second film in the popular series.

The second film shows the futuristic country of Panem in a state of unrest, as its citizens have been inspired by protagonist Katniss Everdeen’s show of rebellion against the government. Katniss and the other previous winner of the deadly Hunger Games, Peeta, are now being forced back into the arena along with other former champions.

The trailer begins with Katniss’s beloved little sister, Prim, telling her that “since the last Games, something’s different. I can see it. Hope.” Watch it below.

Catching Fire centers on the 75th Hunger Games, aka Hunger Games 75, which is also known as The Quarter Quell, where former champions go back into battle once more, putting both Finnick and Katniss squarely back in the firing line.

The film has a new director Francis Lawrence, and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Willow Shields, Lenny Kravitz, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens in theaters November 22, 2013
