Miss China, Yu Wenxia takes home the Miss World 2012 crown

The 23-year-old music student beat out 115 contestants, a record, in the highly publicized annual international beauty pageant in her home country of China.
China’s Yu Wenxia was been crowned Miss World 2012 on Saturday during the grand coronation at the Dongsheng Stadium in Ordos, located in China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
This is the second time in 5 years China grabbed the coveted crown. In 2007, Chinese model Zhang Zilin took the crown.
The first runner-up is Sophie Elizabeth Moulds of Wales and the second runner-up is Jessica Michelle Kahawaty of Australia.
