Child photographed holding ‘Behead those who insult prophet’ sign in Sydney protest
A photo of a small child has gone viral on the Internet: From the protest in Sydney comes a photo of small child holding a sign which states: “Behead all those who insult the prophet”
Authorities have spoken and evaluated the mother saying:
“She did come forward and police have checked the children and they’re safe,” he said.
“There’s been no other reports to our helpline in regards to these children.”
He said there were no plans to remove the children from their family.
The photo of the young child holding the sign while standing next to a baby in a stroller in Hyde Park has become one of the most evocative and highly circulated images from the riots in Sydney’s CBD on Saturday.
“Using a toddler to peddle an incitement to violent killing is disgusting and I think the Australian public would expect the authorities to take up the matter with the parents,” Coalition MP George Christensen said in a statement Monday.

Look what was done to that pitiful child!” MOST ADULTS ARE PARANOID ABOUT CHILDREN. MOST ADULTS BELIEVE CHILDREN ARE THESE “innocent little creatures” WHO DO NOT LIE OR MISBEHAVE.
I HAVE NO EMPATHY FOR CHILDREN; I DO NOT LIKE CHILDREN AND THEY HAVE NO MEANING IN MY LIFE. AS A MALE HOMOSEXUAL – BECAUSE OF CHILDREN – PEOPLE LIKE ME CAN BE INCARCERATED AND/OR BEATEN AND/OR MURDERED, SIMPLY BECAUSE A CHILD SAID, “He touched my [privates]!”
SO, TO SEE A PHOTOGRAPH OF A TODDLER HOLDING A SIGN IN SUPPORT OF BEHEADING HAS NO IMPACT ON ME.
