‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 begins in Camelot, set for a September return
Once Upon a Time returns this fall with season 5 as fans will journey to Camelot. A ton of new footage was dropped at Disney’s D23 Expo and Writer/Producer Adam Horowitz confirmed details about the show.
Check out the first full minute of season 5 in the clip below in the episode titled: “The Dark Swan.”
More characters from King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table will join Merlin and Guinevere. British actor Elliot Knight has been cast as Merlin, the man who holds the key to destroying Darkness completely. He’ll likely play a big role in saving Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) from her dark fate.
Joana Metrass has joined the cast as Queen Guinevere, wife to King Arthur, who will be portrayed by Liam Garrigan. Sinqua Walls will return as Lancelot, with the presumed love triangle drama to follow.
Andrew Jenkins (Wayward Pines) will be playing Percival, one of Arthur’s most trusted knights.
More footage from the new season is in the video at the bottom.
Once also stars Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Lana Parrilla, Jared Gilmore, Robert Carlyle, Emilie De Ravin and Colin O’Donoghue.
Once Upon a Time season 5 will premiere on Sunday, September 27th, at 8 pm.
