Lenora Crichlow says Annie could return on ‘Being Human’
Being Human star Lenora Crichlow has offered some “reassurance” from some of her fans, telling Digital Spy that her ghostly Annie Sawyer could make a return on the show.
Crichlow admits that the wrap-up worked but hints that a return could be possible.
“I felt Annie’s story came to a natural end, I felt very loved as I left the show… Of course [Annie could come back], I’m a ghost. Seriously, there are no rules. Toby, the writer, he can do what he wants and he does do what he wants.”
“I would say yes [if asked]. It depends on what would happen. At the moment it feels right that Annie has moved on and I like to think of her in the afterlife having a really great time. So, if the timing was right, who knows?”
The actress says she will be watching during season 5: “Oh God, yeah. I can’t wait. It will be a bit weird, but [I’m] definitely going to tune in.”
Michael Socha, who plays werewolf Tom, similarly told Digital Spy in April that Annie’s fate was “never sealed”.
“With Being Human, it’s never the end,” he said. “These people who die or leave do sometimes come back, so hopefully we’ll see Lenora again.”
