‘Jurassic World’ director Colin Trevorrow confirms timeline as more dinosaur rumors surface
While there’s nothing official on the next Jurassic Park film, director Colim Trevorrow did address a question regarding the rumor “reboot” that has been attached to the film thus far.
From Twitter comes a direct question: Karn Bains @pfcbains916
@colintrevorrow Mr. Trevorrow, everytime I read something, it says JW is a reboot. Please tell us that its not a reboot?! I’m going bonkers!
Colin Trevorrow @colintrevorrow
@pfcbains916 Reboot is a strong word. This is a new sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park.
Even Collider is connecting the dots with a previous plot summary:
“Jurassic World” is set in present day Isla Nublar, now an actual theme park, as originally intended by John Hammond in the first film. It garners 10 million visitors per year and is completely safe – until it’s not. The park itself is described as very Sea World-esque and includes an area called the Isla Nublar Lagoon. That means underwater dino’s for the first time. No indication of what kind, but there’s concept art showing one of the aquatic dino’s, as part of a show, jumping out of the lagoon and eating a strung up great white shark like it was a fish for a dolphin at sea world.
Trevorrow seems to cement this with other comments on Twitter and real life aquatic mysteries.

Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins are all set as cast for the film with Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt and Pacific Rim’s Idris Elba rumored.
Jurassic World arrives June 12, 2015.

I want a sequel not a reboot. I already like the original franchise. But I am happy with the modern day isla nublar and the sea dinosaurs. I hope they bring back trex, raptors, and spinosaurus
