Goodbye Privacy – Hello CISPA

Tags

Here’s the deal:

Big Brother wants to return to the time where they controlled information. That was when people only had TV, newspapers or radio. The media then controlled what was essentially seen and heard by the masses. People didn’t really have access to anything that countered or questioned information (or dis-information) fed to them from the media. Now, with the Information Age in blossom (Internet and Social Media), those in power (governments and corporations) are struggling to control the information that people see, hear, transmit and share globally. In order to do this they must be able to access all information – and also be able to threaten you under the guise of “security/terrorism” if they don’t like what you are reading or sharing.

With CISPA free speech and privacy will be a thing of the past.

Nothing electronically transmitted will be private or secure… and it can be used against you.

CHECK OUT CISPA HERE FOR YOURSELF

What is CISPA?

Right after Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) ended boycotted by the entire online community, the House of Representatives was quick to replace the proposed legislation with the new one, called Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA).

It’s too bad that those companies who were so against SOPA and PIPA, and who will get immunity from CISPA, are more concerned with their bottom line than they are with free speech and privacy. There will be no huge online protests from them this time around.

Your free speech and privacy will be breached by Congressional passage of CISPA – quietly and without fuss.
Poof.
Gone.

Isn’t the war on terror grand?
Those in charge plan to protect you by taking away all of your rights and freedoms.
