Geoff Johns confirms new ‘Aquaman’ series after ‘Brightest Day’
MegaCon 2011 wrapped up after a long weekend of buzzing fans and comic book creators intermingling in the Orange Convention Center. At the top of the list of headlines would be Geoff Johns confirming that an Aquaman series will be following “Brightest Day”.
The announcement was made at a room full of rabid fans and Johns then tweeted the news:
“Announced at Megacon: After BRIGHTEST DAY I’ll be moving over to a new book – AQUAMAN #1 coming later this year!!”
Rumors are rampant that Johns will be teaming with Grant Morrison, but it is unknown whether Aquaman will be that project.
