New ‘X-Men Days of Future Past’ trailer reveals action, scale and massive cast

X-Men fans have to be excited about the new film which returns director Bryan Singer to the franchise and unites the cast from the first trilogy with the stars from X-Men: First Class.

The new trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past reveals a ton of new footage, but now fans can really get the scope and massive scale for this film. Sunspot, Blink and even Halle Berry’s Storm get brief shots revealing their battles with the mutant killing Sentinels.

The all-star cast is also featured nicely in the new poster – check it out below.

“To think that in a second version we’d have this cast and this director, and you guys don’t know the script, but I would say probably the best script of all of them, is pretty amazing. I think that’s why I’m still here. I’m sure by the way, that it won’t always be my decision to always be here. At some point, someone will close the door on me… [Laughs]” – Hugh Jackman on Future Past.

The film also stars Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Patrick Stewart, Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Evan Peters and Michael Fassbender.

X-Men Days of Future Past opens in theaters May 23, 2014
