Marvel rolls out trailer, images and first look at Ben Kingsley in ‘Iron Man 3’
With the first “Iron Man 3” trailer director Shane Black gives fans a quick look at the new Iron Man armors and, more important to comic book fans, the first look at Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin. (see below)
The new trailer debuted on Tuesday morning which features Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige included his insight into her role as part of this release.
Feige tells USA Today, “That’s one of the things we love about (Tony) It is not a new girl in every film. Pepper Potts is an incredibly important part of his life and his evolution as a hero. She plays a very big part in this film.”
It’s Entertainment Weekly which landed the biggest news with a featured look at Ben Kingsley’s Mandarin, a popular villain in the Iron Man comic books.
“Some people call me a terrorist. I consider myself a teacher,” The Mandarin (Kingsley) snarls in the trailer.
The film also stars Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Rebecca Hall, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau, Guy Pearce, and Ben Kingsley.
“Iron Man 3” opens in theaters May3, 2013.
