The AP have confirmed details that CIA asked for the Boston terror suspect (Tamerlan) and his mother to be added to a terrorist database in the fall of 2011, after the Russian government contacted the agency with concerns that both had become religious militants.

She called it “lies and hypocrisy” and said she has never been linked to crimes or terrorism. FBI reportedly found no ties to terrorism.

The CIA asked the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center to add the mother’s and son’s names to its huge, classified database of people known to be terrorists and those who are suspected of having terror ties, called the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment, or TIDE.

“It’s all lies and hypocrisy,” she told the AP from Dagestan. “I’m sick and tired of all this nonsense that they make up about me and my children. People know me as a regular person, and I’ve never been mixed up in any criminal intentions, especially any linked to terrorism.”

The mother made headline the last couple of days saying “America took my kids away from me. I’m sure my kids were not involved in anything.”

Tsarnaeva earlier told CNN that she believed that the Boston marathon atrocity was a ‘really big play’ with ‘paint instead of blood’.

“I know one thing: This has been done, and that it was not my children,” she declared. “Everything that has been said does not match our children.”

“There was no blood, she said. It was paint,” she said when asked about the news photos.

She did show some emotion when she spoke about the three people who were killed and more than 280 others injured in the attacks on April 15.

“I really feel sorry for all of them. Really feel sorry for all of them,” she said.

Multiple sources confirm that the mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaev, will be arrested on an outstanding warrant tied to a larceny charge.

“We’ll certainly be involved in the conversations. I don’t have any of the details on it yet. We want to make sure we help in any way we can,” Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said.
