Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender and then Hugh Jackman battling Nicholas Hoult – each clip showcase the amazing cast for Bryan Singer’s big return to the X-Men franchise.

Fans get to see Peter Dinklage’s Bolivar Trask squaring off against Lawrence’s Mystique, learn the backstory of McAvoy’s Professor X walking around while explaining Magneto’s rage and the absence of other mutants from X-Men: First Class. The third clip has Jackman going toe-to-toe with Hoult, instigating the transformation into Beast.

X-Men: Days of Future Past centers on Wolverine being sent back to 1973 in order to stop Mystique from assassinating Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage), the genius behind the mutant-hunting Sentinels. The changes in 1973 will ultimately save the future where the Sentinels are not only killing mutants, but turn on the humans as well.

Also starring Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Evan Peters, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Halle Berry, Lucas Till, Omar Sy, Adan Canto, Daniel Cudmore, and Bingbing Fan.

X-Men: Days of Future Past opens in 2D and 3D on May 23rd.
