‘X-Men Days of Future Past’ casting call confirms film set 10 years after ‘First Class’
The sequel to “X-Men: First Class” is set to begin production with an all-star cast from the first film and the original three X-Men films.
Director Bryan Singer also returns to the franchise as “Days of Future Past” will be set in 1973.
The comic book storyline follows Kitty Pryde in a distant dark future where the mutants are in prison camps, hunted by Sentinels and facing massive anti-mutant hysteria. Kitty transfers this knowledge into her younger self to point the X-Men towards the point in history to prevent his horrible future.

“First Class” stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult will join Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore And Ellen Page.
X-Men: Days of Future Past opens on July 17, 2014.
