WWE Monday Night RAW is Live from Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Finn Balor will face Bobby Lashley, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre will defend the RAW Tag Team Championships against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, and Nikki Bella and RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will sign the contract for their match at Evolution.

RAW Tag Team Championship Match
Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins hits the Stomp on Dolph Ziggler and scores the Pinfall victory for NEW champions. After the match Dean Ambrose turns on Seth Rollins and hits him with Dirty Deeds. Ambrose continues to attack Rollins, finally pulling up the padding at ringside and landing Dirty Deeds again on the exposed concrete.
Botches
- Sasha Banks vs. Ruby Riott was basically the same match they did just before Sasha Banks disappeared from television.
- Women’s Fatal Four Way seemed like a missed opportunity to really set fire to a feud between Nia Jax and Tamina.
Bodyslams
- Finn Balor vs. Bobby Lashley was one of the best matches Lashley has had since he returned.
- Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler was another barnburner.
This episode was tough to enjoy after the somber news at the beginning. Regardless of your thoughts on the Roman Reigns character, your heart has to go out to him and his family for what they are going through right now. Leukemia is a brutal form of cancer, and I wish him the best. I’m sure he can beat this again. The matches on the show were good, but the close was hard. I didn’t think they would have the teased turn from Dean Ambrose after this news, but in hindsight it makes perfect sense. It was just hard to watch. The SHIELD was completely destroyed in one night. Maybe this will light a fire under the RAW writing team and we can get some compelling storytelling.
