WWE Monday Night RAW Results September 2 2019

WWE Monday Night RAW is live from Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. WWE Universal Champion and RAW Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins will defend his title against his tag team partner and fellow RAW Tag Team Champion Braun Strowman at Clash of Champions, and the two men will sign the contract for that match tonight. Rey Mysterio will make his return to RAW, as will Firefly Funhouse.

Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman vs. The OC: Rollins and Strowman win by Pinfall.

Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler vs. Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder: Roode and Ziggler win by Pinfall.

Lacey Evans vs. Natalya: Lacey Evans wins by Pinfall.

King of the Ring Tournamnet Match
Cedric Alexander vs. Baron Corbin: Baron Corbin wins by Pinfall.

Viking Raiders vs. Brian Thomas and Tyler Hastings: Viking Raiders win by Pinfall

King of the Ring Tournament Match
Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe: Both men are counted down for a Pinfall. The next round will be a Triple Threat.

The Miz vs. Cesaro: The Miz wins by Pinfall.

Champions Showcase
Becky Lynch and Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross: Becky Lynch and Bayley win by Disqualification .

 

Universal Championship Match Contract Signing

Seth Rollins intends to walk into Clash of Champions as double champ, Burn it Down, and walk out as double champ. Braun Strowman can’t help but think of how awkward it’s going to be after he beats his tag team partner for his Universal Championship. The OC interrupt, and AJ Styles is upset Braun Strowman Strowman gets a shot at the Universal Championship for looking at the title and thinks the United States Champion should be first in line for a shot. Ultimately The OC walk to the ring and AJ Styles tears up the contract before he, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson begin brawling with Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.

Seth Rollins scores the Pinfall victory over Karl Anderson with a Roll Up. Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman fight off all three members of The OC after the match, but Strowman accidentally plows through Rollins as well. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode run into the fray and join The OC in beating down Rollins and Strowman. The five men stand over their handiwork in the ring after delivering all of their finishing maneuvers to the RAW Tag Team Champions.

Alexander is attacked by the three members of The OC shortly into his interview.

Becky Lynch calls out Sasha Banks, and she comes out. Banks challenges Lynch to a RAW Women’s Championship match at Clash of Champions, and Lynch accepts.

Baron Corbin wins by Pinfall after the End of Days.

Ivar scores the Pinfall victory over Tyler Hastings after the Viking Experience.

 

 

King of the Ring Tournament Match
Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe

The referee counts a Pinfall, but both men’s shoulders are down. The referee confers over a headset with an unknown authority figure, then tells Ricochet and Samoa Joe they will get a ruling as he leaves. Joe attacks Ricochet and Ricochet fights him off.

 

 

Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman Backstage

Braun Strowman doesn’t trust Seth Rollins and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Rollins is amazed that Strowman is concerned about next week when they just got beat up by five guys.

Corey Graves Backstage Interview with Referee John Cone

Graves attempts to get the ruling for Ricochet and Joe’s match, but is interrupted by Baron Corbin who wants them both eliminated and a bye to the finals. John Cone says WWE has ruled that both men will advance and the King of the Ring Semi-Final Match will be a Triple Threat.

 

 

Rey Mysterio Backstage Interview

Rey Mysterio is inspired by his son pushing him to continue to follow his dream.

 

 

The Miz vs. Cesaro

The Miz wins by Pinfall after the Skull Crushing Finale.

 

 

Becky Lynch and BayleyChampions Showcase
Becky Lynch and Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross

Becky Lynch and Bayley win by Disqualification when Sasha Banks attacks Becky Lynch from behind with the Bank Statement during the match. Banks attack Lynch with a steel chair after the match. Bayley takes the chair away from Banks and then attacks Lynch with the chair herself.
