Winter Jam 2019: Newboys United and Mandisa headline Christian music’s biggest tour

Winter Jam 2019 is here as the tour kicks off this weekend with a pass through Florida, beginning in Jacksonville on Friday, Tampa’s Amelie Arena on Saturday and then moving slightly north for a show in Mobile, Alabama.

At the top of the bill in 2019 is Newsboys United, one of the biggest names in Christian music for decades, bringing together former band members Peter Furler and Phil Joel with the current lineup of Michael Tait, Duncan Phillips, Jody Davis and Jeff Frankenstein.

Joining the Newsboys is Grammy Award winner Mandisa, 2016 DOVE Award winner Danny Gokey, Skillet drummer and singer Jen Ledger, who has launched a popular solo project. Winter Jam hosts, Newsong, will also be joined by Rend Collective, Hollyn, Dan Bremnes, Manic Drive and Ty Brasel.

The tour travels to 44 cities in three months.
