If you are wondering what the point of college is, this page should be very inspiring to you.
Every college student says at least one time during college: “What the heck is the point of learning all of this stuff?”
And they have every right to say it!
Because a lot of the stuff you learn in college IS completely pointless. But that doesn’t mean that you should totally skip college. It also doesn’t mean that college is right for everyone because it’s not.
Some of the richest people of all time had little or no college education. But let’s discuss the benefits of college. This will tell us the real value that a college degree will give us. And then you can make an informed decision on whether or not it’s worth it to learn what a Mitochondrion is!

Proving Your Abilities
The fact of the matter is this. Many people get a job after college that has nothing to do with their major! It happens every day. And it will continue to happen. But the people that go to college, on average, make more money than the people that don’t.
Now, why is this?
It’s because they have proved that they can take orders and follow directions.
When you go to college, you have to learn so many things. How to manage your time. How to discipline yourself to go to class. How to read and follow your homework instructions so you can do it properly. With all of this, you are proving to employers that you can be assigned a task and get the job done. And your grades show just how good you are at doing these things.
So no matter what you major is, having a college degree gives you a huge advantage over people that don’t.
Learning A Skill That Nobody Else Has
Many of the majors in college involve learning a new skill. In Computer Science, you learn how to program computers. In Electrical Engineering, you learn how to build electronic machines. On English languages classes you get to know how to write essays and check them on https://phdessay.com/online-plagiarism-checker/. The list goes on.
And with these skills, employers are willing to pay you a lot of money because not everyone has these abilities. When you can do something that a lot of other people can’t do, that makes you extremely valuable. If you want to make a lot of money, learn a skill that people are willing to pay you for knowing. That’s really all there is to it.
College gives you a lot of options on what skills you can learn to master. And with your degree, it proves that you know the material.
Sure you can learn these skills on your own. But having the proof of a college degree means a lot more to your employer.
Adding Value To The Marketplace
This is the secret of all secrets when it comes to acquiring wealth. College gives you knowledge. And knowledge makes you more valuable in the marketplace.
Think about this example. Let’s say Bill Gates wakes up one day and all of his money is gone. He wakes up and doesn’t have a penny to his name. He’s not allowed to work at Microsoft anymore. Everything he has accomplished in his life is completely taken away from him. What would happen? Would he spend the rest of his life working at a fast food restaurant flipping burgers?
Of course not!
Some other computer company would probably hire him instantly. Pay him millions of dollars to help their company grow.
Now, why is that? It’s because he is extremely valuable to the marketplace!
He has the knowledge and skills that make him worth a ton of money. So you can take all his money away, and he can still make millions of dollars.
This is what needs to happen to you! You need to make yourself so valuable that you are worth millions of dollars just like Bill Gates.
Learn some valuable skills while you are in college. Learn valuable skills when you’re not in college! Spend every day making yourself more valuable.
So Should You Go To College?
Do you plan on having a job that involves learning a new skill? Would it be better if you had a college degree to prove that you have this skill?
If not, then maybe you are better off not going to college. Some athletes don’t need college to make millions of dollars. Their skill involves something that isn’t learned in a classroom.
If your skill isn’t something that is being taught, and you can make a nice living off of this skill, then why go to college?
But for a lot of people, college is a great choice. It’s a lot safer and more of a guarantee to get a good job if you can say you have a college degree on your resume.
It simply puts you at a huge advantage! But don’t stop there. Make yourself as valuable as possible every day. Become so valuable that the knowledge you have is worth millions of dollars.
That’s simply all there is to it!
