Whoopi Golberg makes disgusting comparison between Trump, Taliban, cutting off heads

The View star Whoopi Goldberg doesn’t see the problem compariing President Trump, his immigration stance and attacks on the media to a terror group such as the Taliban.

“We have had a leader who’s repeatedly demeaned women, wants to defund organizations that benefit women, calling on the media to shut up, specifically wants to give preferential treatment based on religion. Are these values really much different than the Taliban’s?” Goldberg asked on Tuesday on The View.

Show co-host Jedediah Bila quickly pointed out that Islamic State beheaded people they disagree with (which is a light-hearted characterization at best), but prompted Goldberg to claim that some of the language in Trump’s travel ban was disrespectful toward women, but failed to elaborate specifically on anything the President might have said that particularly offended her.

Before he even takes office, Trump is Hitler to the left

The Trump Executive Order can be read HERE and there is NOTHING specific to women over men.

“If you’re saying to the media shut up — that’s what [the Taliban] do,” Goldberg continued, referencing Stephen Bannon’s remarks to the New York Times.

“Maybe they didn’t start out chopping people’s heads off, maybe they started out differently. … Because we’re saying to people, here are our American values, and then we’re saying on the same token stuff that sounds exactly like the stuff we’re fighting.”

Goldberg claims Trump is giving “preferential treatment for Christians” and “forgetting the other religions out there.”

“This is what makes us different from everybody else. Our media, nobody tells our media to shut up and just take it. Nobody. That’s not American. That is the Taliban. … My question is, what’s happening?”

FACT CHECK: The immigration order focuses on religious minorities and ALL of the Islamic nations battling ISIS are nations where Christians are minority religions.

During the February 1st broadcast of Fox News’ The Five, co-host Greg Gutfeld mocked Goldberg, saying it was “groundbreaking to hear a celebrity say something mean about the Taliban.” He then jeeringly noted that the “Taliban should sue” because “they ran out of Hitler analogies.”

Whoopi needs to go. Joy Behar needs to go also. How they can just spew their lies and hatred day after day is just awful. The show literally makes me sick. A good show is “The Five”. At least it is run by adults. So many people have commented negatively about The View, and yet ABC keeps it on the air.
