‘What’s new on Avian Flu Diary’ with blogger, Michael Coston
Bloggers who write about infectious diseases are usually so much better than what you get from the usual mainstream media–better research, great sources and great commentary because they actually understand the topic they’re writing about.
One such blogger is Michael Coston. Mike is the man behind the really good and long-running blog, Avian Flu Diary.
Mike joined me on today’s Outbreak News This Week Radio Show to discuss, “What’s new on Avian Flu Diary?”
In the interview, Coston talked about some of the big stories he covered on the blog during the past week or so. This included the latest on H1N1 influenza activity in the US, Spot shortages of the antiviral drugs, Tamiflu in areas like Arkansas and Atlanta and his thoughts on the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV).
I encourage readers of the Outbreak News section of The Global Dispatch to check out what’s happening at Avian Flu Diary. You can also follow Mike’s work on Twitter.
