We As Human, Justin Cordle interview: Night of Joy, Dove Awards, John Cooper

We As Human frontman Justin Cordle took time out to talk with Dispatch Radio about the band’s most recent success and projects: two DOVE Award nominations, a trip to Disney to perform at Night of Joy and their successful Kickstarter campain.

We As Human photoJustin previews the success behind the DOVE Award recognition, thankful for John Cooper, who helped get the band on the map. Cooper joins We As Human on the song “Zombie” which was nominated for Best Rock Song.

Cordle talks about the amazing success in both Christian Music circles and the secular market, touring with bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Papa Roach etc… and how God is ministering and working in those circles.

Justin offered details on their Kickstarter campaign and how they are now offering “Stretch Goals” which are very exciting opportunities for the band and fans.

This was just a great candid talk about music, the creative process, writing for other bands, performing “Army of One” Live, taking his family to Disney and working with Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf fame on “Take the Bullet Away.”
