WATCH ‘X-Men First Class’ star Nicholas Hoult in the first 4 minutes of ‘Warm Bodies’
Nicholas Hoult made a splash last summer with his role as Beast in the film “X-Men: First Class,” which landed him the lead role in “Jack the Giant Slayer” and “Warm Bodies” – both films were pushed back to 2013.
Thursday Fandango premiered the first four minutes of “Warm Bodies,” described as a zombie love story.
The film stars Hoult as a zombie named “R” who starts to act more human than zombie when he falls in love with Julie (Teresa Palmer).
This clip opens with a charming and funny voiceover from Hoult as we see R stumbling around an airport alongside countless other zombies, wondering what everyone used to be before they became undead.
“Warm Bodies” opens in theaters February 1, 2013.
Here’s the official synopsis for Warm Bodies:
A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.
