Watch the new ‘Logan’ trailer highlights violence, Dafne Keen’s X-23 in action

20th Century Fox have just released the brand new Logan trailer ahead of its release and fans get a look at the violence with Hugh Jackman in action.

Logan is set to have its world premiere at Germany’s Berlin Film Festival next month where all of the stars are set to turn out to support the film. James Mangold directs Logan, which also stars Sir Patrick Stewart, reprising his role as Charles Xavier/Professor X.

Here’s the story: In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Dafne Keen takes center stage as the young X-23, not only as the center of the struggle, but as the center of the action — fans will be excited, check it out below.

Tómas Lemarquis played Caliban in the 1980s set X-Men: Apocalypse, but Stephen Merchant looks set to play another version in Logan.

Logan was shot in Louisiana, New Mexico, and Mississippi last summer and will reportedly be based around the comic book “Old Man Logan” by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven.

The screenplay is by Michael Green and Scott Frank & Mangold with a story by David James Kelly and Mangold. Hutch Parker, Simon Kinberg and Lauren Schuler-Donner are producers.

Logan also stars Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal and Elizabeth Rodriguez.

Logan arrives in theaters on March 3, 2017.
