Watch new TV spots for ‘The Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug’ previewing ‘all foul things come forth’
The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug has released a pair of new TV spots online, as Bilbo and the company of dwarves continue their quest to unseat the villainous dragon, Smaug.
There are a few new action sequences to preview (dwarves in barrels!), alongside plenty of added tension over the immensity of the task ahead.
Thranduil’s pearl of wisdom when he gravely muses, “such is the nature of evil… in time, all foul things come forth” is certain to strike a chord with fans.
Smaug will be voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, The Fifth Estate) but few details have been revealed about the dragon as the Peter Jackson inches closer.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opens in 2D, 3D, IMAX, and HFR on December 13th.
