Warner sets ‘The Lego Movie sequel’ ‘Ninjago’ ‘Lego Batman’ release dates
Warner Bros has confirmed the release dates for two Lego Movie spinoff pics and the sequel to its 2014 hit. The Lego Batman feature has been moved up to the February 10 slot in 2017, which the studio had set aside for an untitled film.
The Lego Ninjago spinoff has been moved back to September 22, 2017, domestically, with international dates to follow. The Lego Movie Sequel will now open May 18, 2018, a week earlier than originally slated.
Warner Bros opened the first Lego Movie last year in Febraury with an astounding $69M debut, so it’s no surprise the studio is repeating the formula.
The Lego Movie grossed a domestic total of $257.7M with another $211M internationally to bring its total worldwide total to $468.7M. (Source)

Rob Schrab has been hired to direct The Lego Movie Sequel, who was highly praised in the news, “He is a comedy genius, a visual savant, and we have been stalking him for years.”
