Warner Bros has confirmed the release dates for two Lego Movie spinoff pics and the sequel to its 2014 hit. The Lego Batman feature has been moved up to the February 10 slot in 2017, which the studio had set aside for an untitled film.

The Lego Ninjago spinoff has been moved back to September 22, 2017, domestically, with international dates to follow. The Lego Movie Sequel will now open May 18, 2018, a week earlier than originally slated.

Director Chris McKay will be handling the Lego Batman film from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith and Will Arnett is expected to voice the Caped Crusader.

Ninjago will have “ninjas, samurais, and sensei fight side-by-side against dragons, armies of snake men, and a once-banished warlord who is now seeking to return to power” with Charlie Bean directing. (Source)

Rob Schrab has been hired to direct The Lego Movie Sequel, who was highly praised in the news, “He is a comedy genius, a visual savant, and we have been stalking him for years.”
