Virginia man, Luis Ore arrested for sexual assault of two girls in Elevation Burger bathroom
A 20-year-old Virginia man has been charged with sexually assaulting two girls in the bathroom of an Elevation Burger in Ashburn, Virginia, on Sunday night, police said.
A representative from Ore’s former employer, Elevation Burger, emailed this statement after his arrest:
“The Elevation Burger family was deeply saddened to learn of the events at one of our franchise locations on Sunday, November 13, that led to the arrest of a now former employee. We send our most heartfelt concern to the individuals and their families involved. Our customers and communities are our priority and without equivocation, the arrested employee was immediately terminated. Elevation Burger is currently investigating the internal processes for which he was hired. Our main focus is actively cooperating in this ongoing criminal investigation.”
Bathroom privacy and protections have been called into question since Target and the Obama administration have pressed for a widespread openness to accomodate transgenders and gender fluid individuals, even to the danger of the others.
