Vincent D’Onofrio and Irrfan Khan cast a ‘villains’ in ‘Jurassic World’
The cast for the fourth Jurassic Park film got a pair of antagonists to join the dinosaurs to battle stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt.
Vincent D’Onofrio from Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The Amazing Spider-Man star Irrfan Khan will play the CFO and billionaire owner of the new Jurassic Park, according to a new report by Deadline.
The Wrap reports D’Onofrio’s character “projects the image of a normal family man to mask a hidden edge.”
Khan (Life of Pi) has been rumored to have a supporting role in Jurassic World for a year now.
Jurassic Park alum Jeff Goldblum just confirmed he’ll be appearing in Independence Day 2, but has not been contacted to return for JW.
Pratt and Howard are joined by youngsters Nick Robinson (The Kings of Summer) and Ty Simpkins (Insidious). Expect more casting announcements soon as the film gears up to start production in April.
Colin Trevorrow is directing Jurassic World from a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing, and it is set for a 3D release June 12, 2015.
