Vin Diesel shares ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Groot preview video
The Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel is set to play a “tree” in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and shared with his Vin Diesel Facebook fans a sneak look.
The star posted a video entitled “Tree Form Down Time” on his Facebook page, giving us an idea of what he might look like as a mo-cap tree

Groot is a tree-like alien and will have Diesel voicing the CGI character and likely using motion-capture technology to bring the creature to life.
Diesel’s co-star Djimon Hounsou, who will appear in both films, also makes a special appearance in the short video.
The film also stars Chris Pratt, Benicio Del Toro and Zoe Saldana.
Fast & Furious 7 is due out July 11, 2014, and Guardians of the Galaxy will follow less than a month later on August 1, 2014.
