The show began with a question, in fact a blog post from Aetiology titled, “Why I vaccinate my kids”.

Smith explains her scientific background, the dangers of vaccine preventable diseases like measles and the very low risk of an adverse event from vaccines. “So for me, the risk of those diseases is much, much greater than the risk of vaccinating kids”, Smith notes.

Reality star, Kristin Cavallari said recently in an interview, ““There are very scary statistics out there regarding what is in vaccines and what they cause” as why she decided not to vaccinate her son. When asked if Cavallari was misguided, Dr. Smith replied, “Yes, I would say she is.”

Smith went on to explain why she thought that.

We also talked about the recent study on “Medical Conspiracies” and the supposed vaccine-autism link , which Smith immediately rebuffed.

  1. Chili’s backpeddles on donations to National Autism Association after customer outrage - The Global Dispatch says:

[…] This caused a storm of outrage from patrons and potential customers who correctly note that the National Autism Association subscribes to the view that vaccinations can trigger or exacerbate autism in some, if not many, children, especially those who are genetically predisposed to immune, autoimmune or inflammatory conditions, despite some 20 scientific studies to the contrary. 2. Judy1 says:

Giving a child 36 shots of 126 vaccines to age 6 is messing with nature. For the first time in the USA, the most highly vaccinated country in the world, children will die younger than their parents. As for the usual diatribe about vaccines saving lives – how about giving good nutrition, sunshine, vitamin C and good hygiene a go.

It is known that vaccines hyper stimulate TH2 associated with auto immune disease such as asthma, lupus etc. The adjuvants in vaccines create inflammation – which is what they are meant to do. For some children this inflammation can be in their brain which is why there has been billions paid out in vaccine courts. Native immunity emphasises TH1. The constant stimulation of the TH2 is possibly the cause for the massive increase in auto immunity, asthma in our children.
