Undercover videos reveal Claire McCaskill’s leftist stance on gun control, Planned Parenthood
The Missouri Senate race is making headlines after a Project Veritas sponsored hidden camera inside Democrat Claire McCaskill’s campaign headquarters caught the “moderate” Senator’s staffer Nick Starost talking about gun laws, funding Planned Parenthood and how McCaskill misleads voters.
“So what were you telling me last night about Planned Parenthood?” a voice behind the camera asked.

Claire McCaskill
“How they never – they don’t donate to Claire because they don’t want to ostracize pro-life Democrats in Missouri,” Starost replied.
Grace Richardson, another staffer, is seen on video stating, “They go through other means to support and give money. They just don’t directly give money from their PACs.”
He added, “It’s f—king beautiful. It’s great when it works for us and not against us, let’s be honest.”
A woman identified as campaign staffer Darcy Becker explained on hidden camera that “it’s not that they don’t support Claire, it’s because they know it’s a tough state to win for a Democrat.”
“Because even some moderate Democrats are pro-life, and even those Republicans that are going to vote for Claire because they’re pretty moderate, she could lose them if Planned Parenthood donated money to her,” she said.
In Monday’s video, McCaskill deputy field director Rob Miller said has “worked out stuff with Moms Demand Action to make sure she can support their goals without supporting the organization openly.”
“And you know, Moms Demand Action does the exact same thing. Like a lot of our volunteers are actually from there,” Mr. Mills said on the footage. “She’s really good about strategy.”
In one clip there is talk about McCaskill lying about the Second Amendment, defending it against different legislation, which McCaskill responded to quickly.
“I’ve made no secret that I think we can support the Second Amendment, and universal background checks, and banning bump stocks.”
“My gun record is out in the open for everyone to see,” she said. “What’s really telling about this is how far they’re willing to go to fraudulently embed somebody in my campaign. That’s startling. I’ve never seen that in a U.S. Senate campaign before in the state of Missouri.”
McCaskill’s campaign said it will pursue legal action in connection with this incident. The campaign is also asking for Attorney General Josh Hawley – McCaskill’s Republican opponent – to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate violations of the state’s Merchandising Act.
Project Veritas said the video was shot recently at the McCaskill campaign office in Columbia, Missouri.
McCaskill is in an essential tie with Josh Hawley for the seat in the Senate.
