Two girls killed in SFO crash headed to church camp, one may have been run over by rescue team

The girls killed in the Asiana Airlines jet plane crash had plans to attend a church camp. New reports show that one of the two teenage girls killed in the San Francisco plane crash may have been run over by an emergency vehicle after surviving the accident

According to the Los Angeles Times, “The two victims, Wang Lin Jia and Ye Meng Yuan, were among 35 teenagers who had been scheduled to arrive at the West Valley Christian Church’s school Monday.”

An announcement on the West Valley Christian Church website home page reveals the church is collecting financial donations for “Chinese Students involved in the plane crash.”

NBC reporter John Cádiz Klemack attended the church on Sunday and has posted pictures onInstagram.

Users of Twitter are using the hashtag #SFOcrash for news stories related to the jet crash.

USA Today reporter William Welch tweets, “West Valley Christian Church and School in San Fernando Valley says it will hold prayer vigil for crash passengers Thursday.”

San Francisco Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White told the San Francisco Chronicle one of the girls’ injuries were consistent with having been run over and that an autopsy was taking place to determine if this was the case.

She said: “As it possibly could have happened, based on the injuries sustained, it could have been one of our vehicles that added to the injuries, or another vehicle.

“That could have been something that happened in the chaos. It will be part of our investigation.”
