Trump responds to ‘Fake conservative’ accusation in typical fashion
“This is a guy who said in 1999 that he was a strong supporter of the United Nations. He was for partial birth abortion before he was against it. He lavished praise on the bank bailouts. He was for Obamacare before he was against it and has said he’s “liberal on health care.”
This is what Kentucky Senator and Republican Presidential candidate, Dr Rand Paul wrote in a recent column in the The Journal by IJReview titled, “Don’t Fall for a Fake Conservative”, an Op-Ed directed over the questionable conservative credentials of real estate mogul, Donald Trump.
Trump’s, who as far as I can tell, only policy position stated in the 1st debate of presidential hopefuls was that a “single-payer health care system works pretty well.”
Mr Trump responded to Sen Paul’s analysis in the typical fashion that somehow has made him popular, by name calling and related repugnant foolishness.
“Truly weird Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky reminds me of a spoiled brat without a properly functioning brain. He was terrible at the DEBATE”.
The pot calling the kettle black, I ask?
Instead of defending whatever conservative credentials and positions he holds, Trump plays the bombastic card once again.
Even Eric Bolling, who was hosting the O’Reilly Factor last night and had Paul on as a guest, was victimized by Trump’s bluster.
What does Trump believe…now?
Apparently, not much. However, his drones are putting together policy position papers to be released at a later date.
When Trump does start spewing his “newly created” conservative positions soon, the unfortunate thing that may happen is that people that follow him will fall hook, line and sinker for his manufactured conservatism.
