Trisha LaFache previews ‘God’s Not Dead 2’
Actress Trisha LaFache will return in God’s Not Dead 2 as Amy Ryan, continuing as the atheist-turned-Christian who is seeking a healing from cancer and spoke with Dispatch Radio about the new film, her character and what to expect.
She began with acknowledging the impact of the first film as “a Christian crash” with the separate stories coming together and this “core of the film remains…It still has that same through line.”
Paul Kwo, David A.R. White and Benjamin A. Onyango also return to reprise their respective roles from the first film.
Melissa Joan Hart and Jesse Metcalfe star in the follow up and Trisha gives an overview of the film, the topic it’s tackling but keep quiet on details. She does dive into the freedom of speech debate, analyzing the right to be offended and offers “to each their own…in a lot ways.”
